Nice! No time to install this weekend for me. Well, at least not the rear cam. Front cam should be 10mins for my EV (not the F15).

I installed mine this past weekend! it works great....but i feel like the parking mode isn't recording for long if at all. had the switches set to 12V and Infinity on the power magic pro. i even tried to nudge my car a bit and it doesnt seem to have any recordings....i think i still have to tinker with it to make sure i dont have something setup wrong here

I'm going to have the professional do it, which costs CAD $800 (the camera and labor). But my dealer told me installing 3rd party electric device will void the warranty. Also I'm leasing the X5. Do I need to uninstall it before returning?

Voiding a warranty is absurd, I’d find a new dealer SA right away.

Finally installed the dash cam. Followed Ben's instruction and very straight forward. The hardest part for me was to peel off the red protective tape.

So far, I’m very satisfied with my choice! Installation is very simple, next I’ll add a direct power source from the rear view mirror or fuse box. |

Anyone got any tips for getting from lower C column to trunk fuse box? (LHD with 3rd row seats). According to realoem, there should be a skrew in the right trunk trim part (the one where the 12V plug is in), but there is none. I did found a plastic skrew when removing the fusebox panel door. But I can't seem to get the bigger vertical panel (with 12V) removed. It seems stuck at the top near the normal seats.

Yep. I've been letting people know that in PMs. They are batch-ordered and need to clear Customs, etc. Def not a normal web order situation. Great deal if not an urgent need...

If anyone is looking for a spot to place an additional dashcam battery (Cellink/Powermagic/etc), you might want to look underneath the storage tray in the boot. It’s directly under the rear fusebox and to get there you only need to remove 3 plastic plugs. Make sure to cover your battery with some heat resistant but soft material to avoid unwanted noise. I’ve just placed my Lukas LK-570 in that spot and hooked it up to the rear fusebox (12v outlet in the trunk fuse).
