Just got my X6M 2 days before vacation...needless to say my mind is on my new M.
I had a previous X6 M sport where I went M performance mad... 2 months later my new gem into my lap. Present day. Next Monday I get to change my mods to the M. I loved the 599's on the M sport but can't seem to find pics with them on the M. Going back and forth... Keep the 612's or change to the 599. Let me know your thoughts cause I'm so undecided at the moment. At Disney with the family. Wife and I are going to LA for 5 days. Won't be thinking of the M...lol |

Im clearly in the minority here but I like the 599s and am considering this same swap for an X5M. Yes, you risk looking like a 50s, but I like the chunkier/more detailed look of the 599 and it will still look badass.

New pics...at the shop now...
I'm kind of bias on this cause I'm in it for $$$ and trying to make the best of it with the wife... Black front, side, back M badge and the 599's on... |

You can use the 599 for the winter and use the 612 for the summer. But the 599 look way too narrow and inside the fender for that body. You need wider wheels, that is where the 612 will help. But this is just my opinion, doesn't mean I'm correct and you are wrong. You do what makes you happy.
