What’s you cold weather wash regimen?

I’m getting my X5 ceramic coated next week. The detailer told me ‘hand wash only with a neutral ph soap’. Here in PA I need to shut off the hose bibs in the winter to prevent freezing, which leads me to ask- how are others hand washing in the winter in cold climates?

I’m considering taking a couple of buckets of hot water (lidded of course) down to the local pressure wash to get through the winter. Any better ideas out there?

That’s a good question! I’ll get some additional info from the detailer next week.

This is the route I go as well. Would rather be able to wash by hand but Canadian winters prevent that.
