Thanks Joe. Your previous car was one of the ones that swayed me towards Mineral White.

I was wondering if you ever found a set of BBS SV wheels and started poking around to find out. All I can say is "WOW!" Initially I was feeling a little lukewarm about the styling of the F15, but those wheels (and other mods) really set it off. Got me thinking... am I ready for an F15 now?
Great job!!! |

Sorry if I missed it, but...
Alan, I have been reading through this, but did not see if you finally lowered it. If so, what set up did you choose? Thanks....Monkey Punk.

Alan, what do you think about the Active Steering option? Please tell in more detail.
Whether it helps at an active driving or on the contrary disturbs? Thank you. |

You know, I'm about to pick up a new 550 for myself tomorrow, but I look at this thread and the pics of your F15 on the news page and think, why didn't I just take the F15 for myself and get my wife something else??? (I know the answer of course, I prefer my kids be in the SUV and my wive drives them more than I… but still lol).

I love those BBS wheels. I wonder if the 20"s will look as good.... I'm a bit nervous to roll on those short sidewalls. Part of me is considering a squared winter setup with those.

^^ lol I wasn't sure if that was you yesterday. Figured it was
As for 20" versions I wouldn't do it. I've seen several other SUVs with these in 20" and they look tiny. Stick with oem 20"s because they almost always look bigger than aftermarket wheels in that size. Alan |

Ha ha yea I recognized your plates but couldn't completely stop in traffic to say hi.
On a side note, I hate parking on Bayard street since my old SUV was been side swiped twice! And that's with me parking almost on the curb. |

I might have missed it in the previous pages, but where did you buy those BBS wheels?

^^ contact Hendrik from Baan Velgen. They are located in the Netherlands but shipping only took 3 days and their prices were significantly less than any US retailer.
They use to be a forum sponsor here as well. Very smooth transaction and one of my buddies has another order in with them right now after I got my wheels Alan

Alan[/QUOTE] You can say that again! Great prices, sucks about $300+ for shipping however. Was 295/30 335/25 the recommended sizes? I need an A/S tire with a better winter rating than the Pirellis. I thought there were more 22" options (and cheaper) than 21".

Did you get that quote from Hendrik or just from the website? Trust me even with shipping it's much cheaper than ordering from the U.S. They mounted and balanced my setup perfectly and loved that they used black wheel weights instead of the regular shiny silver ones since the wheels are darker color.
295 is what everyone here runs with 22" so I went with it. Wanted as thick of s tire I could get. Alan |

^^ Gas is cheap here in America so 50i no question. Its faster than the M50d quite a bit and only loses to it in fuel economy.
