2015 50i tires

So I picked up my truck about a week and a half ago. 2015 50i and I'm loving every second of driving this vehicle. Hop the joy of driving doesn't fade away!! The truck is equipped w 275/315 Bridgestone Duehler HP RF. I live in NJ and we do get snow. Are these tires adequate for winter driving ? The previous owner said he drove in snow with them and had "no problem" but I'm not sure if he's being completely honest. Looking into DSW Continental tire if I need to switch for winter. Are the DSW tires as low profile as the Duehler RF? Don't want something too chunky. Thanks for any advice !!!

God no those RF tires are widow makers in the snow. Search the boards for Conti or DWS...1000's of reviews out there. I had them on E70 50i and currently on my F15 50i and live in the midwest snow belt. Please for the people around your own safety order Conti DWS06 from Tire Rack or whomever ASAP. Or order a dedicated snow/winter setup from dealer, tire dealer, etc. Shit can those tires now. The previous owner is (a)incompetent, (b)never really drove in snow or cold weather, or (c)is an ass clown to even suggest that.

As a Chicago Driver, I agree with Nova99. Get a winter set and feel like you are rails.

I’m just across the river from you in Bucks county. I ran Duelers on my E70 as my summer tires, then I would swap them for Blizzack’s for the winter. For my F15 I plan to use my factory 19x9 rims for my winter set with the Blizzack’s and swap rims/tires for summer.
