X6 35i performance impressions
I wonder why BMW offers 306 hp and 450 hp for the X6. These figures seem to me very far from each other. I think there should be a 360 hp alternative.
So how does the X6 feel with the 6 cyl engine? Coming from a 328i F30 owner, I'm not sure if it is clearly a step up in performance (straight line obviously). |

Why would there be a 360HP version? BMW isn't going to tune their N55 like the did with the M2, and they aren't going to come up with a new engine. The I6 meets the needs of most drivers. If you want more fun, you're going to have to pay for it.
If you want 360hp X6, its very simple. Get a MPPK and dinan (or race chip or JB) Your F30 is quicker than a stock X6 to 60. It is much lighter and more agile. You're going to have to sacrifice a bit of performance when going to a X6 |

I've driven my friends F30 328i with a JB3 and compared to my X5 the performance will be similar. If anything off the line acceleration is better in the X5 with more initial grunt with the inline 6. If you are expecting a massive performance boost from your current car then you need the V8.

Coming from a 640i GC, I really underestimated the Abilities of the 35i Engine, but it actually is Faster than you think!
