New Guy... Deposit given...couple questions

Hey Guys,

Impulse buy, 2012 X5M, fully loaded with 40K miles. I test drove it and felt great.

Checked it out with a paint meter but both front fenders won't register at all. Are they CF or some other material?

The front fenders where the hood shut close, seemed to have a slight sharp edge as if the fender material is rolled in?

I did not see any Vin stickers on the front fenders, OK?

A friend mentioned most have wheel bearing issues and brakes squeak noise, I didn't hear/feel anything? True?

Scheduling a PPI, anything I need to pay more attention to?

Thanks

You need to move this post over to the E70/E71 forums, unless someone here can chime in and answer your question.

Front fender most likely will be plastic.
But, E7x sub-forum would be the right place.
I worked on E7x for a little tiny bit, so I am not so sure if it plastic fender or aluminum.

Did make a post there but not much response. Can you guys help me the timing chain stretching concern in a S63 engine (all X5M 2009-current)?

Is that a real concern?

Thanks
