Interesting, no incentive on the '18s?
Unfortunately not. I just managed to get a good deal cause my business partner and I buy a lot of cars with this dealer.

Depends... haven't really gone off the island for much lately just because of the hassle and I've been really busy. If something is on the island I'm more likely to go.

Great color combo. Been thinking of dumping all of my vehicles and getting into one of these. Looking forward to following your build.

Ahhhhhhh, I don't know if I'd dump all the cars for an X5 M. It's definitly a great complimentary vehicle in my opinion. I wouldn't want to have to choose between my M3 and it though. I really like that car but I mean it really depends on what kind of car you need and if the budget suits having both.

Hopefully I'll be able to give you guys some updates this week. Clear bra and ceramic pro has been taking longer than normal because my friends shop has been swamped and my truck came earlier than expected and wasn't in the schedule.

No offense, unless there is a performance benefit I wouldn't be interested in a carbon fiber intake cover that is going to serve no purpose besides looking cool under the hood.

It would be a performance benefit as well as good looks, we are expecting 20-25 Wheel , Official dyno sheet are going to be available very shortly.

But that is because you'll be changing out the filter. The carbon fiber cover is the same as OEM right? PM me more details.

My shop has been super busy so the X5 M has been waiting around. Finally the other day they started! Here's the first wash before getting a full clear bra and ceramic pro

Yes! My M3 has it. My detail shop uses it and I take their recommendations. Seems to work well IMO

JcLusso, does your 2018 have iDrive 6.0? Still waiting on mine here in Germany as we discussed previously. I had a build slot 4 days after you I believe, but my car has to get shipped to Germany.

Just noticed on the BMW USA website that the website has been updated to show 2018 X5 M options such as the revised Executive Package, and in updating the website and online build your own configuration tool, there are now photos and a written description of iDrive 6.0.

I know several people were asking about iDrive 6.0 because press releases mentioned the 3 Series and M3 would get 6.0.

If you could confirm or deny this that would be great. It sure appears on the website now though that iDrive 6.0 is a part of the 2018 X5 M.

I can confirm I have the live tiles in that photo. My friend has the past iDrive on his 2017 M3 and was able to enable that via coding though so I cant say for certain if it is iDrive 6 or not. I believe it could be the same thing he enabled which is called iDrive 6 Lite.

When I get a chance I?ll see if we can hook it up to a computer and find out.

JcLusso, thank you for confirming the live tiles. I think iDrive 6.0 is now standard on the 2018 X5 M. Just by viewing the BMW USA website, and clicking on standard features, it clearly states now that it is equipped with iDrive 6.0.

Hope you are enjoying your 2018 X5 M now that you received it and have been able to personalize it with some accessories and treatments. Thanks again.

A friend of mine thinks the 17s has ID6 because they had the touchscreens too and ID6 came out in MY17

From what I read, the touchscreen did come out on 2017 X5 M, and I drove one for 4 days back in April 2017. Even though it was a new touchscreen feature for 2017, it was iDrive 5.0. However, the X5 M I had for several days was a German spec car.
