Would anyone happen to know what the max HP & Torque gains are for my 2017 F15 sdrive35i N55 engine before you need to upgrade the intake and exhaust?

I'm thinking about doing the Racechip RS but an increase of 75 HP & Torque seems like a whole lot of pressure buildup in the cylinders with the factory exhaust which seems like a great way to blow a gasket or rod.

I would appreciate any advice.

I can't give you those figures but I have been running the GTS Black on my 35i for almost 2 years without a single issue....plus realistically it's probably less than the advertised 75 hp

well that's good to hear! do you have anything other than the GTX Black like intake or exhaust or just stock?

also, how noticeable was the power increase and MPG increase?

Just stock all round. The power increase is most noticable in the mid-range, but it isn't like you've added a second turbo or anything dramatic. I will say though that when I take it out if the car is booked in at the dealer, you suddenly feel like you are going so slow! As to mpg, I didn't buy it for that so haven't really paid much attention to my numbers. Problem is, since I 'm working from home now I don't get to drive it much so when I do, it's with a heavy right foot

ha, yea with the power increase i can see why mpg suffers. Mine is 100% stock right now with 41k miles and driving around in eco pro mode I'm averaging 23.5 overall with some trips to work going as high as 27.5 which isn't too bad.

Not too bad. Personally, if mpg was important I would buy something smaller/lighter/diesel. Eco mode drives me nuts as you lose the immediate pedal response. To my mind it's a BMW and it's a driver oriented car (I know, even though this is an SUV ) and should be driven as such. Eco mode should be banned in BMW's!

haha yea I totally agree with you. Before this X5 I had a 2014 328d that was so much fun and I got spoiled to driving pretty fast and still would get amazing fuel mileage. This is my first N55 and yea, she got power for just being stock and it's so much fun to drive so I'm sure I'll get used to the mpg not being as great. if it keeps bothering me I'll just switch with my wife and drive her 2017 330i *

kinda thinking of the JB+ tune but not sure yet
