4 or 2 ohms sub?

Hi all. I would like to upgrade the subs in my hifi system. I hear the sws-8s are good. I have read the stock subs are 2 ohms but also someone somewhere on here said we should use the 4ohms with the hifi amp. Which ones should I get? What other cheap audio upgrades can I do?

Usually upgraded subs require more power. How about adding a separate sub and amp?

I don't want to deal with another sub box or anything that is visible or takes up space. A small amp to drive the stock subs or upgraded woofers maybe if it's like $100

I don't think you're going to get anything for $100.
There are amp and speaker upgrades but they cost a lot.
Google "bmw f15 amp upgrade"

There are 2 channel amps for $100 that could power the underseat subs. I have seen the few plug and play amps and the $500+ price is a hard pass for me.
