Led Fog Error

Hi,
I installed new H11 Led fog lights on my 2015f15. I used bimmercode to change from Halogen fog lights to led fog lights. The new led bulbs work great, super bright and good colour match, however if I drive with the fog lights off I get a fog light error after about 5 minutes of driving. If I then turn on the fog lights the error goes away!

Is there a code I'm missing? I did see temp sensor hot and cold awsell in bimmercode.

Thanks all.

Yes...if you did not change the “monitoring” when you changed the type of bulb...this could be the reason you are seeing the warning.

Go back into the Bimmercode app and look up “cold monitoring” and turn that to “NOT ACTIVE” for the fog lights. This should stop the warning if cold monitoring is still active for your fog lights.

See info below from the Bimmercodeapp’s website:

Awesome, it worked... Any way to have the fog lights on all the time without turning them on manually? I have DRL in Canada?

Thanks

Great...good to hear/read that deactivating cold monitoring worked to fix your warning issue.

In regards to having fog lights on all the time by default...I don’t personally recall ever seeing that particular coding parameters.
