RufussCkingston , usually turning off and on the car will do the trick.
The newer firmware lets the modules sleep much earlier than the early production F15.
Like mine, 11/13 built, the car can stay on for 30 minutes at a time. While the newer one, only lasted about 10 minutes.

As the mirror fold, there is the delay on the CA, the same as the horn, the turbo, and more in the cars.
But, if you press the lock button in the key, it works much faster.

I did set the Werte Value to 00 from 0f in Komfort_schliessen.

Did I miss something, or is that just the way it is?
As others have explained, when coding the "instant" keyfob and CA access folding option of the side mirrors upon locking your vehicle, the keyfob folds them instantly when pressing lock. However, the CA (for whatever reason - maybe some safety concern or giving you the option to keep your side mirrors open in case you want to) will not close the side mirrors unless the ridge is held for about 1.2 seconds (not instantly, but def shorter time than the default time from before). It's not a hiccup - just the way it is.

It is possible that if coding works in conjunction with windows rolling up (I didn't try it after coding my X5) it is also giving time before it starts rolling the windows up while folding mirrors. This could be the reason for fixed delay.

Also, I sort of feel bad that hitting the lock button on the tailgate won't fold mirrors. I use that lock button pretty frequently, but ever since I coded my mirrors, I just shut the tail and then use FOB to lock the vehicle so mirrors can fold.

Chances are there is a setting for that delay. Chances are Opasha has looked for it :P

Yep, looked for it before, and I looked for it again after that comment to double check. Nothing in BDC_Body for it, which is where it's located. Same goes for the rear trunk button. Nothing related to that for side mirrors (the primary folder for all side mirror coding). I haven't seen any car either close side mirrors from locking your trunk (pretty fancy, lol).

Just found out that TFL_Modus might not be needed and actually makes us lose the bright parking lights (if we have TFL_Modus enabled, our parking lights get dimmed. If Drl_s (stock for US cars) is enabled, it keeps the parking lights as the same brightness as our DRLs. Can anyone confirm this for me?:

BDC_BODY -> 3060 -> TFL_MODUS:
Tfl_s -> DRL in A and 0 position
Drl_s -> DRL in A, 0 and 1 position
Off -> DRL off

I'll test it tomorrow when I can. Thank you, guys. Also I tested with Trojanlaw, and it seems that we are out of luck with the LED Anti-Glare free coding. The only LAST solution I have is to do this. Remove 5AP and 8S4 from your FA, VO Code BDC_Body and Kafas2 only, then go into Kafas2 folder and FDL Code the following to test:

Kafas2 / GLAREFREE_HIGHBEAM_ENABLED / change this to each one of them that are "enabled" I assume 01.

The only other IDEA I have is to VO Code EVERY ECU except DME (to avoid CEL) and see if this helps at all. Some guys in other threads are VO Coding Kombi and some other stuff. It's worth a shot? We don't know what is connected to what nowadays. I compared sssmokie's Euro files to Trojanlaw's US files to skalberti's US files to CatFlap's UK files. All have no differences except what I tried with Trojanlaw for the FLA_Coding section within Kafas2 (which yielded nothing but shut off his auto high beam feature - I think the Auto Sensitivity code - it's no sensitivity on Euro and UK cars but sensitivity enabled on US). It beats me. I'm willing to test and code this on other people's cars. Let me know. So yeah, we either VO Code everything (just to cross our Ts and dot our Is) or give up to the fact that it is in fact a hardware difference. There is no REGION coding that is different at all except in SLI_Coding and TLC_Coding sections, which strictly deal with Speed Limit Info and Lane Departure features.

Also, I came across this Diesel engine sound coding someone recently found:

It enables a Settings menu for Mini Engine Sounds:

HU_NBT 3000 ASD_CONFIGURATION
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_1
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_2
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_3
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_4

I'm assuming it deals with vehicles that have that Active Sound feature where you can change your vehicle's exhaust sound to an M4 in M135i and M235i. It might give our X5's a different note maybe? I doubt it, but it's worth trying for you diesel guys. ASD deals with "diesel" configurations.

Tfl_s -> DRL in A and 0 position
Drl_s -> DRL in A, 0 and 1 position
Off -> DRL off

and this:
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_CONFIGURATION
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_1
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_2
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_3
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_4

I think the F10 M550d has this sound feature, that would be awesome

Ok, ASD is not for diesel only, and it simply stands for Active Sound Design. I checked in my 50i CAFD for HU_NBT and other member's 35d HU_NBT, and it is there:
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_OFF (this allows you to turn it on and off in the settings menu when aktiv)
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_CONFIGURATION (nicht_aktiv currently, but gives you the menu when aktiv)
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_1 (aktiv currently)
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_2 (aktiv currently)
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_3 (aktiv currently)
HU_NBT 3000 ASD_SOUND_4 (nicht_aktiv currently)

@opasha I've always thought that maybe BMW put 1 or 2 codes elsewhere in another ECU that was the final piece to the puzzle. I've thought about VO coding all the ECU's except the DME, but didn't have the guts to do it

Well for the record, I've VO Coded my whole ECU before by mistake in the beginning last year and the only issue that came up was a CEL that was later cleared via ESYS (I know the CEL came from DME only and nothing else - this was also when I had the improper install of the RaceChip from my mechanic). Trojanlaw said he is happy to test this stuff again with me tonight. There are codes that turn off the high beam at certain speeds. So for the issue with auto high beam assist not coming on until 25mph - I will look for it to see if it can be lowered. The testing parameters behind the anti-glare are really annoying because of having to go "55mph or above" to see it work supposedly. That doesn't make sense to me, and I need to find that parameter. As you said, BMW likes to now throw a lot of random stuff all over the place (Easter Egg Coding) to make coding more tedious/difficult.

I coded for Enhanced BT. So now I can see some messages that come in when I'm in the car..

My question is is there a notification sound or pop-up, other than the little mail envelope icon next to the cell signal meter?

Otherwise I have to remember to look.

Not sure, I don't use the feature at all since I use a smartwatch. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Also, everyone delviacv2 just let me play with his ASD configuration and it does absolutely nothing. You need the ASD ECU folder, which our F15/F16 vehicles do not have. So no exhaust note changes, sorry.

TFL_MODUS is now being changed from tfl_s back to drl_s as I mentioned above. With drl_s, we have confirmed our parking lights stay 100% full brightness just like the HALOS when the lights are in off mode (day time running light mode) while maintaining the rear like coding as well if you code it. This TFL_MODUS code has nothing to do with the rear tail lights going on or off unless you turn TFL_MODUS to off. Now, you can code your fog lights to be on with your parking lights and have FULL 100% brightness halos with your fog lights (very cool effect at night ).

Standard US EBT does not produce a sound/alert for incoming messages; just the envelop.

I imagined a chime could be activated with coding, but it sounds like not.
