I am having issues coding mirror open/close via the key. I purposely did not equip the vehicle with comfort access. I have had comfort access on previous BMWs as well as on Toyota vehicles and it is pointless to me. Nevertheless, I would like to be able to pull in the mirrors and extract them via the key.

Anyone without comfort access that has coded this please advise.

Solved my issue with Bimmercode, it was just a matter of cliking on "Restore purchases" and coding was unlock again

Apologies for late response as well as incorrect info, I misread your question and so please disregard my statement that I was able to code this feature.

I am still missing ability to code wing mirror folding, totally absent from my options, seems like there are some updates missing. I have since coded this by digging out my old windows machine and cable, so for me this app purchase and the adaptor has been a write off.

If you are having the same experience as me, the option for 'Mirrors' that you'll see in the demo version is completely absent. It may be possible via Expert mode, but I did not see the requisite ECU data there either and so reverted to my tried and true method; ESYS running on a laptop.

The App received a fairly large update to BDC Coding yesterday, 09.26.17

Is there any way to code m logo in HUD?and if I don’t have bmw apps, can I enable them in nbt evo?or this requires some retrofitting?

Thanks, I noticed that yesterday, out of curiosity I will look at it again to see if the Mirrors section is now there.

Update: the App refresh has now added (for me) the Mirrors section - moot as I coded via Esys. but in case anyone else had some issue.

Yes this is what I was looking to restore (after dealer recall and ECU flash), I had previously coded with ESYS and was hoping to cut some corners. Anyway per your other post, I will see if the App update has corrected this, will be nice if I need to make any future changes.

I have iOS11 working fine but have not yet installed 11.1.

So got everything I wanted coded. Only issue I ran into is when closing the trunk with the remote it used to be press to open and press to close. Now when I coded it, I have to keep pressing to close. Opens fine with button press

Also received these malfunctions which made my heart drop. Turned off the X5, unplugged V-link, walked out, locked it and turned it back on and it was all gone like that. All coding still in tact.

I do wish however there was a favorites menu check list to do it all at once so I do not have to keep going through all option menus.

I just completed my coding this morning. When I was finished, my engine light was on and I had lost my door chime.

I restored everything from backup -- restoring BDC made the engine light go off. I restored the others I touched too. I still don't have my door chime back though. Any ideas?

When I coded with my laptop before they installed MPPK, I had deactivated the camera and seatbelt warnings, but I still had a door chime. That's what I want now too. However, what I have now is stupid BMW default + no door chime!! What?

Edit: I reprogrammed this afternoon and I did BDC last instead of first. I was not left with an engine light this time. However, still no door chime.

Also, I set turn signals to 5 and the setting doesn't stick. The app still says 5, but the car is only doing 3. I went into expert mode to check on the actual setting and couldn't find it: BDC_BODY/3068/BLINKZYKLEN_ANZAHL_TIPP.

ok, just found out that the code may be PIA_DEFAULT_TIPPBLINKEN. I'll check that later.

Ok so I tried it again today and it updated. I coded my mirrors, angels with fog lights and tailgate closing with key fob. Thanks to all the wonderful people putting the DIY info up here. I coded it the simple way with the VGate Wi-Fi OBD2 and the Bimmercode App. So easy a caveman can do it, should've been the slogan. lol

There was no PIA_DEFAULT_TIPPBLINKEN.

'unlock on engine stop' isn't taking effect either.

I looked for VAM_UNLOCK_KL15OFF_AFTER_PIA_AUTO_LOCK in expert mode and didn't find it. I haven't checked for CLI_DEFAULT_UNLOCK_AFTER_END_OF_DRIVING yet.

Go to expert mode and change the werte value to 04 or enter a new value. It will work if you have the older iStep version. It did not work for me using BimmerApp, I have to use E-sys.
