Came home to BMW with this......
After having a 328i (2002) and 320d 2003 in the UK, then moving to US 3 years ago and getting a 328i 2013 I bizarrely got a Jeep GC 2018. Although the GC was nice, it wasn't a beemer.
So the wife wanted a new car, went to look at her choices....and while she was test driving a new Atlas.....i saw it....x5 50i M Sport in Carbon Black.... Now I've had 3 cars since the move....GTI, 328i and the GC.....so I really didn't need a 4th in 3 years.....but...it's a BMW She ended up getting hers and while we waited to get hers done, I mentioned the X5, and she didn't freak out, so in my book that was a yes... Next morning went back, test drove and now she's mine https://photos.app.goo.gl/xASnYVXD5zXm7PLq8 |

How does the Atlas compare to the X5? Atlas could be on the short list for the next one

Obviously not as quick as the 50i, but still not bad for the size. I prefer it to all the other brands, Chevy, GMC etc are all the same in my opinion and crap quality.

These are more "American". Big and more square....but it is a lovely car, depends what you're after.

The CB is stunning, will be even better when I complete the paint correction. It will look like the day it was painted in a few weeks.

Would like some tips on the noises from the rear. Seems the tailgate rattles. The build quality of the lower section is a little poor....small thing.
Might try some felt strips or attach some material to the parts to stop any knocks.

Ughhh...The thought of BMW of SA makes me cringe. That's where I bought my X5. I understand out-of-state purchases are slightly different since I had it shipped to PA, but I have never dealt with a dealer that made soooo many mistakes throughout a car buying process - mistakes that had nothing to do with it being out-of-state. Communication was beyond horrible!

I havent purchased a vehicle from them and to be honest, I am not certain I would. Curious, what caused you to buy all the way down south, in SATX? |

So the Racechip Ultimate is on....
Easier install then some have described - would say it took 30 minutes. Longest part was deciding where to secure the unit - no doubt I'll relocate to a better one at some point. Took the car up the road just make sure it all worked....no problems. Will fully "test" on the way home from work - but I am hopeful. Thansk r33_RGSport
