Sorry that I busted your suspense, but it’s finally done. Love them!
More iPhone pics, I dusted off the DSLR and am barging the batteries. I’ll do a proper shoot someday soon. (I hope)

The GTS has an extra sensor that’s a little difficult to get to but now that I’ve done it, I could install/remove it all in under 15 minutes.
Don’t judge my dirty engine bay, I know it needs a detail.
Can you take a picture of that sensor? I been trying to get that off and it is such a b1tch too.

I was advised by race chip that it wasn't needed.
It is a cam shaft sensor that they originally needed to track if the engine is on or off.

They had lock the app and the recent update on the app.
They do not need this signal anymore.

The new batch of wire harness would not have the C wiring after selling all the cables with the C harness out.

Cam Sensor for 35i

Here is the best I can do, it is easier if you have a pair of angled/bent needle nose pliers. Just be super careful with the plastic around the sensor when removing with pliers.

Thanks for the pictures. It was a bitch to try to take off. 8 will attempt this on the 18 once I pick it up. I have an appointment next Friday to have the mppk install first. Will drive around with the mppk first before installing back the intake and race chip.

I am considering Suntek CIR 70 for my windshield. Do you like it? Did you notice any reduction in the cabin temp after installation? Any complaints? How is the clarity during night?

I do like it, it doesn’t appear to affect the HUD at all, which was a concern of mine. It’s hard to tell if it alone added in the reduction of heat transfer because I had them all done at the same time, to include the sunroof. I haven’t noticed any issues at night either.
As of now, no complaints.
I say go for it, it’s the largest window on the vehicle and allows in the most heat. I also use a sun-visor/screen by HEATSHIELD (specifically for the F15/X5, available on Amazon).
Thanks

Thank you for the feedback. I use a sun shade and it helps when parked outdoors. My issue is with the heat radiating off the windshield and dashboard while driving.
