After a bit of research,
I am going to go with E70 X5M front calipers and rear panamera rear calipers. It will be 4 pot all around but will look much better! |

2 - X5 M E70 Front Calipers 2- Regular 50i Rear Calipers 2- Panamera Calipers. I will do the Panamera calipers later on in the spring as I don't want my car down for too long and don't want to spend crazy amount on brakes. I will get my brakes coated all together so when I put the rears on, it will be matching color. Overall my brake budget is under $1500 with all rotors/pads. |

Pretty sure these had figment issues if I recall but I may be wrong. I recommend going back to some of the earlier pages. Couple websites falsely advertise for the M brakes but they're really for the 50i. GL.
Also you do know the panamera need grinding down and a custom bracket. I'm sure your aware.

I heard that the pedal is mushy without coding but mine is rock solid when car is off but when I turn it on when depressed it slowly almost goes down to the floor when pumped couple times hard again that is when the car on, is that how mushy it is without coding? anyhow I would like to resolve this coding issue any help will be greatly appreciated. Once you do this upgrade, you will quickly realize that the brake pedal has about 40% of the 100% stock throw available and makes it tough to stop quickly. Makes it difficult to properly bed the rotors and pads as well. Once the coding was complete (about 10 mins if you know what youre doing) the braking power increases to be considerably more stout than stock. The brakes pedal is responsive from 0-100% and you feel like the $$$ was well spent. The choice is yours, skip this step, lose braking ability compared to stock and spend the $$ for a downgrade in performance. Or....do it right and reap the benefits of the upgrade. |

Thanks[/QUOTE] Revert and go back through the steps again. It looks like you missed something along the way. I used these same directions, going about it step-by-step, and it worked the very first time. I did have some trouble getting E-sys to connect to my car correctly but once I was connected it was completed using the directions listed with screenshots. Hope this helps. |

First off make sure your using the correct link ie on the open connection F25 without direct connect. Second thing would be looking at options menu, I when searching on google and found a post from another forum who appears to have the same error/issue you have. You'll need to turn off VCM and MSM TAL updates (thanks to TokenMaster for point that out) Open Esys and go to option (Red) and then settings (Green) Then Find the options tab (green) and make sure "Update VCM after TAL execution" and "Update MSM after TAL execution" are unchecked. Then hit ok. Post Information Source https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/ar.../t-785766.html |
