Single ambient light strip is out

Hi,
just noticed a few days ago, a single section of the ambient lighting system not working (set to orange). It is the one above the pocket on the rear of the front passenger seat. Any advice as to whether it's likely wiring or the lighting element itself? How would I trouble shoot? Car is OOW so I'd like to tackle it myself if it's an easy fix. Thanks in advance!

I have a similar issue, all of mine went out other than the big one across the dash. I believe it had something to do with the coding because I noticed it a few days after doing some coding. I haven't gotten around to take a look at fixing it though

I think this is normal. I suspected the same but saw a thread stating those lights do not change with the rest.

The LEDs fail. Couple threads discussing this.

For me it wasn't the LED failing but the plastic that they use to send the light from the single LED across this plastic piece was broken at the contact point at the LED. I took the back off the seat and superglued the part back on. Everything is working again.
