BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 4,500.00

Or Best Offer

Item Interest
Still unsure if I like the 21s since I do prefer how my 22” DPEs fill the wheel well a little better. Curious to see if anyone would be interested in these.

Wheel Brand/Model: Adv.1 ADV6 M.V2 SL Series
Bolt Pattern: 5x120
Bore Size: 74.1 all around
Specs: 21x10.5 ET +32 & 21x12.5 ET +12 (Flush)

Finish: Driver Side is Brushed Bronze w/ Gloss Clear & Pass. side is Brushed w/ Tinted Gloss Clear. Inner barrels are matte black
Tires: 285/30/21 Pirelli P Zero (90%) & 355/25/21 (60% tread)

Brushed Bronze was newly finished just 1 week ago by a reputable shop in Anaheim, CA. I paid $985 for the refinish just to have 2 different looks.

Oh man 355/25/21

The front tire size is off and should of been a 35 series on a 21. But guess the 355 kinds of throws everything off

Are you sure the rears are a 12.5 with a et 12. The fitment looks pretty conservative for those specs.

$6,000 for used wheels which have been refinished and half the tires need to be replaced soon? Are people really spending that type of money on used wheels?

Well I wouldn’t spend 5800 on used wheels and low tires. But to the poster defense the wheels along new would of cost 10k. Most wouldn’t pay that to begin with but if you consider the price new it makes more sense.

I mentioned before that used wheels on the forums normally don’t sell more than 4k

The price is listed as OBO. I mean, that’s the first indication that I’m flexible on the sale. I’ve sold plenty of forged aluminum wheels on the E70/E71 platform for about the same range and those models are nearly 10 years old. The matter really is subjective...just because the wheels aren’t worth $5,800 to you doesn’t mean they’re not worth more to someone else.

And stock wheels w/o tires for $2750? And you called me out on my post?...really dude? LOL

The wheels brand new do cost $8K+ without tires and that’s based on you getting a 20% discount off retail assuming you know somebody who knows somebody.

If you aren’t happy with the price listed, nor are you interested in purchasing them...Then what value are you adding to the thread?

Thanks for the free bump regardless.

Sellers don't privately offer better deals because you publicly shame them on their optimistic pricing.

Sellers do sell if privately and directly offered good deals.

If you want the wheels, and they are great wheels, offer OP something. Shoot him a PM, say "hey butthead, take $4K cash sent Pay Pal Now for them?"

I bet he responds. May not be what you're looking for, but at least you're out on the dance floor. πŸ™Œ

This is a heck of a set, especially the bronze.
I just don't know if there's that high of a budget room on the current X5/6 members for that kind of a buy.
I understand the OBO, but I just don't know if the BO can be an acceptable one for a seller. There are two or three exotic sets like this, that are languishing in the forum.
Very tough to lowball at that high of a price.
I sure hope they all sell because that would mean that the F15/F85 brand is still alive an' kicking.

Ths pics are a set of wheels in 2 colors on a E70. Unless I'm mistake they don't fit F85 as is. Yes Seller is entitled to ask whatever he wants. Seller asking someone to take a plunge on a set of wheels that need to go machine shop and he doesn't have a F85 to verify fitment. And you sir are correct there are 3-4 sets listed of these overpriced used Concave forged wheels made by ABC XYZ company that may or may not still be in business. And they will continue to sit until Sellers realize that they themselves overpaid for the wheels. I'm not making that mistake used is used. If I wanted to pay 4-5k for wheels I'd get brand new ones.
