Upgrade 2015 NBT to NBT EVO (ID6)

originally I though £2k, bugger that for a joke... But info on bummer-tech suggests I don't have to update my display or iDrive controller and it might be possible to just replace the HU.

Has anyone else done that? Because I seem to be able to get an ID6 HU for around £500-£600 on fleabay...

Your old communication box will not work with EVO.

In the future, you need to use the button. And if you still wanna pursue this option, contact sj22. He did this retrofit successfully, and did what you're trying to accomplish: https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1593428
