OEM Quality CF Trim Wrapping
Hello guys,
I have recently did Alcantara wrap on my trims to see how good it can be, and i have accomplished very good result on this. I will be selling this Made in Italy Alcantara pieces soon. I have compared the $1900 Oem trim Vs my CF trim and the only differences was 2 front trims being alcantara. This was the best decision i have done on this mode to get a great quality alcanrata with wrapping around. The great part is it comes with adhesive and if you want to remove later on, will not damage your oem trims. It is super thin and very easy to work with. I have not used any tool other than a razor, a thin card and my fingers to do this. Product can be ordered here Trust me you will not be disappointed on this product. How was your gap on the left side? I seem to have a large gap there. Although I tried to reinstall it a couple times, didn’t help.

This was a very nice update, I wonder what an upholstery shop would charge to do this job. Well, I have been talking to my local upholstery shop called Seatco in Springfield, VA.
They told me to bring my vehicle by so they could look at it, to figure out a price, well I stopped by there yesterday. The manager brought out one of his technicians to look at my vehicle, to figure out the difficulties in doing this job. Then we went back inside to find the swatches of Alcantara material, so that he could match it, and place a order for 3 feet of it. He said that he would send me an email once he has more information regarding the materials need to work up a cost estimate. He did say that it shouldn't be more than $400, factoring in 3 hours of labor and materials. So, this is something to consider doing it yourself.
