H&R parts number
Help needed.
Could someone please tell me the exact H&R part numbers for 5mm spacers and the proper extended bolts that would fit on a 2015 X5 35d. I usually get all my stuff from shipped to my address in the USA but unfortunate circumstances are preventing me from crossing the border for the next little while. I would like to try to get them locally. Thanks |

Ok ya I'm tired. The part number for the spacers works great.
What's the part number for the extended bolts? |

I believe you can't pull up the lug bolts part number online. They only have it listed in their catalog.

Are extended lugs needed for 5 mm spacers? I went with 4mm Eibach spacers for the front and they did not come with extended bolts. I used the original one and seems to be ok. Should i be worried?

Proper threading needs 4-5 full turns. With 3mm on my G30, I only have 4.5 turns. In your case, I would say that you only have 2.5 to 3 turns, which is very dangerous. Especially on the SUV weight.

Thanks for the reply. I just measured the threading on the original bolts. It is 25 mm and the overall length of the bolts is 50 mm. I have a set of bolts with 30 mm threading and overall length 50 mm from my previous car. Do you think i could use these instead? Would that be the proper way to secure the front wheels? If not, could you help me with the exact specifications for the proper bolts that should go with 4mm spacers?

Post a picture of them side by side. Also, make sure it is the same bolt diameter and thread pitch. What I use for 5mm spcer is 35mm thread since stock is 27mm thread.

On a side note, i took the front wheel down and then secured in place all over, this time, counting the turns. I got 6 complete turns + the extra tightening at the end using the original bolts. My question is: how do you count the turns? I started counting since the moment the bolt was secured in place (could not just pull it out, had to unscrew it). Is this what you mean by turns? I am going to buy longer bolts anyway. Here is the picture of the bolts i tried to use. Left is the original, regular bolt, right is the original "anti theft" bolt, middle is my Mercedes bolts which sadly do not fit. |

Also the cone shape by the base if the top hex part, you have to pay attention on it to. Porsche, BMW, Volvo, and some others, are using different design. If you are not using the correct one, the wheels most likely are not secured properly. To count the turn, you mark 1 point of the hex, turn it clockwise to tighten until you see the mark again. That's 1 full turn, you may miss by 1/2 turn during initial bite, which is fine.

Oh, and Benz usually using galvanized or chrome finished bolts, while BMW uses black bolts.

It does looks nice.
I would stock them but last time I order couple sets, took them months to fulfill the order. Besides, if you are still running stock rotor, silver would also match well since the rotor hat is silver.

They should offer a rust color to match OEM rotors.
