One key but 2 driver profiles - how do I save the seat settings for each person?
Hey, my wife and I use the same key for our 2017 X5 but we have two different driver profiles. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to save our seat settings along with the driver profile. For example, if she drives the car and selects her profile, then the next time I drive and select mine, it doesn't adjust the seat for my setting and it seems to get lost. Is there any way to do this?

Ditto...that's what I was thinking...why not use the seat memory buttons...saving 1 button to each of the driver's.
FYI (to the OP) in case you didn't know...the seat memory buttons aren't connected to the remote. So what ever you save to the seat memory buttons...won't be affected by any changes made then saved by the remote's profile. This comes in handy (the seat memory buttons) for when you've got a perfect saved seat, steering wheel, and mirror setting to your remote's profile...then you give your remote to a valet, mechanic or other driver...and they move the seat, steering wheel, and mirror. When they lock the door with the remote...then their changes have now become the profile for the remote...wiping your "perfect setting". If you saved your seat/steering wheel/mirror setting to one of the seat memory buttons...then you have nothing to fret...just press the button that pertains to your memory setting, then lock/unlock the car with your remote and VOILA!...your remote's profile settings for those things are restored.

My F15 and F16 adjusted the seats, and everything when a profile was selected, same FOB. Maybe you’re not doing something right when setting it up. It should provide a warning that the seat will adjust and you have to select “OK”.

Forgot about those buttons! We have another key but just like using one key. Just thought the seat settings would have been stored in the driver profile rather than the physical key. Thanks

It is stored in the profile, per my post above yours.

It’s stored in the profile. My wife and I use separate keys, but we are able to recall all our settings, including seat settings, via a profile menu when one of us don’t have a key but going to drive.

And certain key just activates the last used with that key profile.
