Cbozz rear BBK retrofit for F85/F86

just got mine installed. Don't know yet how to add photos, but I wanted to give a big shout out to Cbozz. Had a little snafu with the paint, he took them back and got them sent back to me quickly. Professional. Had to do my rears anyways, so I was able to 'absorb' the cost somewhat. Did it purely for looks, and what an improvement.

This is probably one of the best upgrades any owner could do for there X5M. I really don't know what the specifications are, but a 4-Piston caliper clamping down on the pads is better than a 1-Piston sliding caliper any day. Are you listening BMW

I've ordered a set off Chris too, super helpful and very easy process! Can't wait to see the calipers in the flesh! Heaps better upgrade than the Tronik option. Those R4S pads from Porterfield are an excellent street compound too. Good choice.

You gotta paint the rotor hats. Silver looks good behind silver wheels. Black looks great behind black wheels. Really cleans up the look and eliminates the ratty cast aluminum look that can happen after a while.

Now i fit on the car but this is best zoom photo.
The quality is great-they are leader in performance braided brake lines.

@///M_Martin, Thanks! Another question if you would: the Goodridge kit has 6 lines but are all 6 actually used? Looking at the brake line diagrams on RealOEM, it doesn't look like F15/85's have soft inner lines. Can you confirm?

Hi,
Use only 4 lines (2 short not use and really don't know why Goodridge put in kit)
Some car applications have a handbrake on 2 additional lines BUT here not nessesary.
Fit now and work great!

Seems like the brake pad dont cover the full rotor (which will leave a rust ring)... is this the case?

He is from Bulgaria and ended up not ordering the pad designed for it at first. He will be ordering it soon tho.

Yes,I was thing the EBC Pads will be ok BUT they NOT cover full discs surface and will purchased correct ones Porterfield

P.S. Very hard every time when i want to change the rear brake pads order from USA but not have another solution

Finally got my brakes all done, my man Chris was awesome! This set is a must upgrade. Unfortunately pictures don’t do this kit justice. Turned out amazing.

If you have SPC upper control arms make sure you let Chris know because the bracket needs to be modified.
