You guys are all LUCKYYYYY!!! I got mine for the equivalent of $137,066 (USD) (including 3 years 60,000 KM free service and 5 year 200,000KM warranty on engine and transmission knowing that my connected drive doesn't have BMW Online because my area isn't covered... So no Google, No Office (Even though the icon is there)

Which dealer if you don't mind me asking? I've been able to get most dealers down to 8-10% off msrp but I finally found my perfect spec at bmw Irvine and they're not budging much off msrp

It is going to be a long summer for you
I'm in no rush ... I specifically requested the July Allocation to get the last month of MY16 production. Current lease expires in October '16

What is lease protection? BMW leases already include GAP insurance at no additional cost. were these 2 charges above the $101200 price ... or included in that price? Either way its a great deal or an insane deal if both included!

Planning to add the tire & wheel with cosmetic plan as well as obtain the "official" BMW winter tires set for this upon delivery to be prepared for next winter.

It was extra... :-) at 100195 they would have had a cow if i tried to get them to include it....wish it was included. Not to mention my trade they took at a really good deal. Lease protection covers tires, paint dings, windshield etc... essentially you return the car with all the tires bald and it is ok. Given 4 tires are about 2K.. i just need to return them bald :-)

It really is funny the different responses you get from different dealers, particularly in SoCal. Some offer you a great price upfront and some play the "these cars are hard to come by and go for a premium" game BS...

Yes, even with discounting we get ripped off.

Keep in mind also that both of these deals took a lot of pushing and are certainly not the norm.

Typically a buyer would have paid $155k for the M50d and $190k for the X5M.

This is namely due to a luxury car tax which accounts for about $30k in each of those deals.
I'm moving to Australia in a few months and have set my mind on getting the X5M. The price you have mentioned is for a brand new car that is in stock right? I ask because I have seen on the websites that some dealers quoted 'demo car' (with 1500km) at those prices you have mentioned. Thx

Brand new, you will have to push dealers hard to get under 190k. They will all quote you 200k when you walk in. The 175k was part of a trade in deal, without a trade, the deal was 180k. This is due to a variance in LCT. I had to fight quite hard with a number of dealers to get the price down.

Anything around the 180k mark with ventilated seats, soft close doors and rear blinds is a cracker deal. Demonstrators are typically listed for 185k and will go for the 180k mark. In many ways I was lucky to get a brand new car for the same money, and that was certainly influenced by taking a car in stock.

Thx mate! Actually, I'm moving to Melbourne. Just contacted a couple of dealers in Melbourne today on 2016 production which are coming in at the end of the month/April. I haven't started any price negotiations yet but just got a quotation of $213k on a 2016 build, in Mineral White with full merino leather. I'd rather have soft close doors though. I'm gonna do test drive next week and also have a look at what's available in the bonded warehouse. Once I've picked something, I need to start working on the price. Any tips? BTW, are your prices drive away pricing?

Yes drive away.

Look at all of those taxes. God it's painful buying a luxury car in Australia.

25% of the purchase price in taxes alone...

I just picked mine up last week: $108k sticker, $95k deal. Mine is Donington/Black with B&O and Exec Pkg, but no full leather, carbon fiber or Driver Asst and had been on the lot for a few months so I think they needed to move it.

Got mine built to spec.
MSRP: $102,695
Price after rebates was below $92,000.
Leased with $6100 drive off (including 1st month and NY taxes) and $1125/month.

Initially the sales guy changed our agreed sales price from $94509 to about $97,600 on the contract, focusing on the "agreed monthly payment". I told him we previously agreed on a sale price of $94509 and that shouldn't change. After a lot of discussion, he changed to 94509 as previously agreed (I had screenshots of that price that he sent me over email...) with the $1000 return customer and $2000 march rebates went to under 92K. But then he jacked the MF to 0.00155...

I was pissed. He said he was "entitled to make some money and it wasn't even much" And I told him that HE agreed on the sale price and money factor and that I had screenshots of that he sent me. He talked to the manager and said he couldn't do it for less than that.

As the car was built to my spec, I decided to sign.

After it was signed, he reminded me of the survey and the need to be all 10s... What do you think? I always try to be good and not screw up people.

It puts u in a bind - if there was nothing to be gained or lost, I'd give 1s for changing the price on me. I for one believe in an agreement, you still got a great price for an ordered car, but it was not what was agreed upon. If my math is right, you are paying about $1200 more than originally agreed upon.

If they couldn't do that deal w/o a loss, they should not have offered it (of course if an incentive from BMW was taken away, thats a whole different story).

I would however never give bad ratings to a dealer I needed to rely on for service, not worth it. Just enjoy the X5M and be happy you got it so quickly!

That's my current attitude.

BTW, paying about 800 more at the end of the lease.

My deal right now is 110595 MSRP and the offer is $101,084.50 cap cost. This is basically invoice - $2000 lease cash incentive + dealer fee of $689.50. This would be a vehicle ordered by my spec doing PCD delivery in SC.

I still think I can do a little bit better. Thoughts? I am in florida.

That's just a tad less than I got off, but essentially the same. Did you order or take it off the lot? I was happy with my deal, with 7 MSDs I'm at $1,031 monthly with taxes up front on $107,195 msrp.

Looks like u are building in taxes though, and your msrp is higher too. Your residual and money factors are correct. I'm happy with my deal, I'm not one to go back and forth and wait for a call, took me one 30 minute trip to the dealer to close it out which was my goal.

Yes, I guess each state is different. I think for Florida taxes are included in the monthly lease payment. sales tax is charged on the deprecation+finance charge each month.
