OP clearly stated the car is for his wife. Hence why I said "wife".

With a black interior, can you really tell the difference between the black full merino leather vs the black extended merino leather if the vehicle has the Alcantara anthracite headliner? My wife is open to a black interior now.

Here is a thread that comments on the black interior.

I am wondering if the better option is a 2019 BMW X5 with the M-Sport package. Based on pricing guide, I should be in the upper $60K. Opinions please.

pglover19,

OK - a bit confused here. You started this thread with the premise that your wife is torn between an X5M and an X6M. Four pages of responses all the way down to the difference between extended Merino leather and full Merino leather.

Now you are asking for opinions on a non M X5.

What does your wife say and / or want?

You appear to be all over the place on your decision making. Perhaps you need to better think through what the key decision criteria are for you (or your wife).

I bought a new M Sport 50 and kept it 3 months and traded it in on a new X5M.

If you want a nice SAV that drives well and has a little pep , the M Sportb is for you.

If you want a GREAT handling Sports car with GREAT power , the X5M is for you.

It’s really that simple.

Agree here, we've given you tons of details on the X5M and you toss in the '19 X5. X5M is a 567hp beast and you are now comparing it to a 2019 40iX5 with Mspsort that will have a v6 with 335hp; two very different SAV. New X5 40i will start north of $60k (~$61.5k+) by the time you add options and Msport likely will be north of $70k. A new 50i will be north of $76k. Neither of these will be out for another month or two and there will be a line out the door for people itching to get them.

Are there any X5M owners with the following combination? If yes, can you share some photos and your opinion of the combination.

Exterior - Black Sapphire Metallic
Interior - Sonoma Beige Full Merino Leather
Interior Trim - Fineline Oak Woood Trim

Thanlks

I am lost as to what you are doing. Go to the BMWUSA site / build the X5M to that exact spec and look at the excellent photos. What difference do our opinions make - it is what you and / or your wife like - not us.

I am wondering if we are being punked & trolled with this thread.

I am sorry that that folks are feeling this way about my posts. I am very serious about purchasing a X5M for my wife. With that be said, I will do as much research as I can on my own before posting anymore questions.

Sorry that I have offended anyone.

It is not about offending anyone - it is about getting your criteria sorted to focus your questions so members can be of help.

I love the bright blue colors that are more prevalent today but would NEVER buy a vehicle with that color - so what? The reasons are my own hang ups.

This color combo sounds like you're inquiring about the X5M for sale at Coast BMW. If so, I highly recommend you find out why it's been for sale since January and why it was not eligible for BMW CPO. There's a much cleaner CPO one at BMW encinitas but carbon black on aragon brown.

Have you checked the BMW CPO page?

I see 3 2015 models, Carbon Black over Aragon Brown for sale.

If you consider 2016's, there another Carbon over Aragon, and a Black Sapphire over Aragon.

I also see 2 2017 models, both Black Sapphire over Aragon Brown.

I found a 2015 X5M that my wife likes. We will be traveling tomorrow to see the vehicle and hopefully purchase it. The vehicle has the 2 major packages plus full leather, CPO, the B&O system and the rear entertainment system. I am surprised however that it does not have the enhanced usb/Bluetooth option (6NS). It looks like this option can be coded later but I am concerned about voiding the warranty on the vehicle.

Can someone comment on what I am missing without this option (6NS).

just googled and found this:
To summarize, without 6NS, you won't get:

Library Browsing - Playlist, Artist, Genre via Bluetooth (still works via USB)

Ability to connect 2 bluetooth phones simultaneously

Additional Microphone - For improved communications

iSpeech - Voice control for contacts and music

Mobile Office - Text Messages, Email, Calendar, Tasks, Contact photos, Voice memos.

Base plate in center console - for snap-in Adapter integration

Connection to external antenna ***8211; For improved reception

Ok.. Thanks. If everything goes well tomorrow, I will look into coding this option (6NS) once I purchase the vehicle.
