Asked a question on an older thread and was messaged immediately by this POS Scammer BrettC. I have had this happen several times in the past few months. This one was pretty easy to spot. Make a note of this phone number and steer clear. These scumbags are all over this site so be careful. I love the new warning triangle box in the message area. Thank you!!

I was scammed by a very old member on this forum who never came back on this forum after scamming. Be careful.

Is it possible he made a new account to reach out bc he was banned? The red message is automated bc his account is new.

I'm pretty sure the red banner is triggered when a certain # of forum members report a given post via the yellow caution triangle below the user's profile information. The banner could potentially be triggered for any forum member, regardless if the account is new or old. With that said, most of these I see are for brand new members who are clearly scammers.
