Parking Break

The parking break doesn't automatically turn on anymore when vehicle is parked.

Sometimes it turns on but the light turns off after a few minutes.

Anyone know what the issue is?

I have no problem turning it on manually though.

The parking b-r-a-k-e (red LED) usually turns on automatically if you have AUTO-H initiated (green LED). If you turned off AUTO-H (auto hold) then the parking brake doesn’t turn on automatically. Check to see if this is why it is acting differently than before.

Even with the auto h off. The parking break would still turn on automatically after you parked the car. It does still turn on automatically sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.

This issue with it not.turning on automatically seems to have happened after.the accident when. It was hit. On the rear left side. Had a stabilization light error, tire malfunction ans steering pulling right issue . They replaced rear right shaft also. It's been glitching ever since.

I just checked my manual and I believe you are right.
