I ordered my Dinan back in early December and still waiting on delivery. For me it's the most adult set up for sound quality and minimal drone. If you want to be loud AF, go with Fabspeed as I have tried their systems on my Porsche. AFE is probably somewhere between Dinan and Fabspeed but can't tell how badly it will drone.

Thanks for the info, when you say drone you mean the exhaust sound while driving with windows up ?

Exactly.. The noise/boom in the cabin when the windows are up cruising at a steady speed with engine RPMs in the low range.

AFE drones...they have an option to add their resonators on the mid pipe to cut the drone. I too have been waiting on my Dinan...might just give up on them as the delivery has been pushed back like 3 times now.

I had AFE on my F80 M3 and it was extremely well made and sounded incredible. Different platform but the quality will be the same.

I currently have an 2015 f15 5.0 m sport with deleted resonators and catless Down pipes stage 2 tune I loveeeee the way it sounds aggressive but factory sound , I might just do the same to the x5m in the beggining and take it from there if the sound is satisfying I will keep it as is and won't buy a muffler system tbh

Surprised not more people opt for REDSTAR Valvetronic Exhaust?

This is one of the best valved systems for the F85.

It's not guaranteed... One of the reasons I preferred Dinan due to Helmholtz chamber design... Guess no body wants to work these days at Dinan/Holley since the ship dates keeps on getting pushed back.

The shipping date is unknown because they don't have the exhaust in stock and ETA is unknown.

Dinan sounds okay, fair priced but hangs too low in most pictures at least to me.
