Brand new Telematics module and antenna, have a short circuit code
Everything seems to be working fine as far as signals go, it all seems to be programmed properly.
Keeps coming up with: B7F8B4: Connection of headunit to SDARS antenna base: line interruption B7F8B5: Connection of headunit to SDARS antenna base: short circuit Any clues? |

Damn. GPS stopped working all of a suddenly during a trip. Going into the service menu in the headunit shows no GPS signal and "connect antenna".
New telematics module, new antenna, but they reused the old cable so I'm thinking that it might be that. It's going back to the shop but any clues here? Last edited by Straddle55; 04-13-2024 at 12:05 PM.. |

I wanted to figure this out myself so I bought a little puck GPS antenna with the correct connector, plugged it in to the module in place of the roof nantenna and GPS started working perfectly.
Since it's a new antenna, I'm going to assume it's simply the cable as the cable short error code indicated. The shop can deal with it |
