Hi,

Does anybody can help how to activate TPMS with Bimmercode (or e-sys if bimmercode doesn't work).

My car didn't come with the tire sensors, bought and fitted all 4 but car don't see them. Made some reasearch and activate some options through bimmercode, now i can see the preassure and temperature on screen, but all blank and it showing me a RPA/RDC error.

When i try to reset on iDrive it keeps telling me that the reset will do with vehicle in motion, but already drove some kms and nothing happens.

Does anybody have exactly what needs to be coded ? shawnsheridan maybe ?

Install the 4 sensors in the wheels, add 2VB to your FA and then VO code the BDC, HU_NBT, DSC and Kombi.

Won’t he need more than coding? BMW uses two types of tire monitoring systems. Caio123 has the indirect FTM/RPA (flat tire monitor) system that uses the ABS/wheel sensors to determine tire inflation using rotational circumference.

Coding iDrive to display tire pressure & temp has been done…but the RDC control module isn’t installed which is what the TPM system uses in conjunction with the sensors installed in the tires. The sensors send a signal to the RDC module…if there’s no RDC sensor…how does the data get to the iDrive screen to be displayed?

Changing the coding from FTM/RPA to TPM/RDC without having all the components of the latter system is probably the reason for the errors being thrown.

I can't for the life of me get the ambient lighting to stick to purple on my 17 X5 using BimmerCode.

Followed a couple different coding threads to try and change the RGB values. Would someone be willing to assist?

Just got E-Sys working, can you tell me which functions values need to coded after add 2VB on FA ?

VO Coding after changing FA will set all FDL Codes automatically.

interior motion senson disable - when you lock the car( after pressing lock button) press it again within (I think) 10 seconds, may be 30 seconds - that disables the interior motion sensor if you have kids or animals left behind... no need to code it
