No I am dealing with knocking and clicking noise.
Whoaaaaa..... Those are some pricey componants.. There's No Way all of that was bad.. If you don't mind me asking... What was the total repair cost? The clicking noise is most likely the Front Right CV axle joint.
My guess is he paid about half of what the cars current book value is....

Unfortunately, OP's experience is very common. Dealer service departments follow BMW diagnostics procedures and begin to replace parts until the problem is solved. This works for 90% percent of problems covered by warranty. More complex problems require a call to BMW NA and the the process repeats. Approved parts are replaced again.

10% of problems require a different approach where an experienced mechanic uses his / her deep insight to identify a non-prescriptive diagnostic approach.

I always believe that developing a relationship with a local independent shop shortly before the warranty expires is the best investment in reducing future repair costs.

Today I got my car back and everything is ok.
They replaced the right side axle, but it still had the noise, so they also replaced some seals and parts of transfer case that they had replaced before.
I still have some questions

And they are Buena Park BMW California.
I hope there are no more victims like me, please avoid Buena Park BMW.

Yes,..
Little bit shaking on 40 miles turns out these parts they replaced.
- engine mounts(both)
- front differential
- transfer case
- front left axle

and then they found knocking and clicking noise and replaced these parts.
- Right axle
- inner parts of transfer case.

Now the little bit of shaking problem has been fixed after 1 and half month.

And their solution was to just keep replacing parts until fixed. Apparently without even taking it for a test drive...and people wonder why i do my own maintenance.

Had a misfire cyl 1 and 3 BMW wanted to change plugs, no thanks I will do it and come back... I requested they check the Injectors, they won't until the plugs were changed ($930).

I changed the plugs (OE by Bosch same part number as OEM BMW), misfire persisted, changed the coils still there so brought it back for injectors.

BMW insisted they have a diagnostic protocol/algorithm that their monkeys have to follow before they could look into the Injectors.

Reluctantly, i said OK and sure enough it were the Injectors..

Lesson learnt, fuck them Monkeys and had those Injectors not under warranty, I would have never gone to them

I have reversed the charges and waiting for them fockers to fight back, we'll see.

Yes, just the plugs where they were not BMW plugs. That is my point as well, when the plugs were brand new (same plug numbers, both made by BOSCH, one OE and the other BMW)) why could they not test the injectors but they told me they have to have OEM plugs before BMW would let them test the injectors (BS)
