Lot of people say that the 310 is suppose to be the invert of the 375, there sharp too! BMW does make some very nice 20” and 21” wheels, little on the heavy side but pretty strong.

Agree! I like the 310’s a lot, we don’t see enough of them on here. Under appreciated? Too expensive? Not well known?

People seem to flock to the 612, not one of my favorites.

Agree. Unlikely, but we can hope. I’m still looking for my windfall from the Nigerian Prince.

love this color, and wheel combo. if only I could figure out how to post photos on this forum
Thank you!

To post pics, if you're using an android, try using the paper clip icon on the bottom left of your post when typing. Don't use the pic icon. (the little box with the mountain design inside)

That works for me.

22’s ? Love the look.
Thanks a lot!

Yes, this is my 3rd X6 and I've run 22 inche, staggered wheel set ups on each one.

The X6 has an aggressive road presence that I feel needs the big and wide tires to complete the look.

Any difference in ride?
I’m definitely looking at putting on 22s and I have it down to like 5. Thinking if I should just sell my 612s and purchase some 22s or keep the 612s for my winter setup. Decisions.

Thumbs up

ALWAYS AFTERMARKET!!!

I will be installing 22's soon on my X50i soon...

In the meantime, the wheels that came on her are among the nicest factory wheels I have ever seen on a production vehicle.

I am looking along the lines of these as I prefer wheels that have lips not just spokes. It gives an elegant yet sporty look IMO...

Do it!!

it will absolutely transform the aesthetics of your car for the better sin e you're already considering it.

To answer your question, there is a different in how the ride feels. The aftermarket wheels are noticeably lighter than the run flats that can with my X6, so I noticed that difference right away. I do get a bit more (barely noticable) road noise, but I actually enjoy it slightly for the sportier experience when pushing her during time traffic patterns and road conditions permit.

When you get your low profile tires, just be mindful of potholes and either avoid them or slow down if and when you encounter rough roads. Most brands a pretty durable, but nasty pothole confrontations can leave frustrated and cause to visit wheel repair shops.

I went with 22" VARRO Staggered black VDO2 wheels

22x10.5 on 295/30-R22 front +38 offset
22x12 on 335/25-R22 rear +32 offset
On Toyo proxies ST III tires.

Stock 255/50-R19 runflat tire and wheels weighted 72lbs. The 22" weighed 72lbs front and 76lbs back so the unsprung weight was same for front and only slightly more on back. Granted the Toyo tires are not runflat.

I haven't put spacers on them yet so a work in progress. I got them from off of eBay and they're advertised as OEM but eBay is like Google..everything is factually true.
