Gap under headlight - Normal?
Sorry this may be stupid but I noticed a gap under both my headlights between the lower part of the headlight assembly and top of the bumper. Please see the picture and tell me if you have this similar gap. I could not really tell from pictures online.
Thank you. |

I think it's a bit bigger then mine, but not by much. IFAIK, my bumper and headlights have never been removed.

Headlights need cooling and the air needs to get in somehow.

I know we'd all like to think these vehicles were hand built with hours of care, however a worker picked up that bumper cover from the assembly area and slapped it on the front in a matter of 3 minutes- where it is then held in place by plastic tabs. Results may vary.

After removing my bumper and reinstalling I have the same issue on the passenger side. I couldn’t get the bumper to clip in to the brackets below the headlight. It was a nice evident click on the drivers side. I’ve tried a 100 different ways to try and shimmy it in but it’s not giving...really driving me crazy!!!!
Anyone else have success with resolving this? |

Thanks guys. I'll deal with it. Looks like this is pretty common across all models.

I just noticed this as well, the gap in the passenger is bigger than the driver side. I guess once you noticed it, the gap just goes bigger and bigger. lol
