Dinan S1 tuner problems

I bought a Dinan S1 for my 2016 X6M from a person that had removed it from his 2017 X5M. The install was pretty straightforward and easy with the instructions from the Dinan website. Problem - It is running rough and stalling, throwing six different codes related to the MAF and fuel pressure on the rails. The only, only thing that did not match the Dinan instructions was that they called for installing a 12v power lead to the 12v post in the engine compartment as well as the ground wire. Now, there is a ground wire off of the Dinan box (it is a black wire) but there is no red 12v lead...so I installed the ground wire and moved on. Clearing the codes via odb2 does not make a difference. Starts up, tries to run, and then within 5-6 seconds it dies. Any ideas?

***EDIT***

Upon more digging on Dinan's site, I am not convinced this tune is right for my 2016 F86, even though it was advertised as 2015-2018 F85 or F86. I really hope this is not the case, I suppose only Dinan will be able to tell me.

***Final Edit & Fix***

I had to get a hold of a tech but, he identified the loose wire (black) to be the 12v wire. Whoever installed/uninstalled the tune had cut off the label that identified the wire. As soon as I hooked this up and turned ignition on, the blue light on the dinan box flashed and everything worked correctly. The increased power is noticeable, and the car seems to really put a smile on my face. It is more optimized for my driving style. It knows when to be mild, and knows how to deliver when the need arises.

Some notes: Dinan's instructions have a picture of a red 12v wire. This is incorrect for my install as the 12v wire was just a single black wire.
In my kit, there is no ground wire.

Call Dinan. Your unit may still be under warrantee being it was on a 2017.

With tune on, Carly gives me acceptable errors as well. I am not sure yet if all tunes do this, but I suspect that they do to a point. And my unit powers up when I unlock car. I see a blue light when it does.

Anyone else having issues with the DINANTronics Performance Tuner app (Android version 1.0A)? When I open the app, it says "NO DINANTRONICS DEVICE DETECTED Make sure your ignition is ON and engine is OFF". For some reason, the app can't detect my DINANTronics device.

Strange, don't you have to add the mac to have the app see it.
