New to BMWs and about to pull the trigger on a 2014 X5 (F15). It drove straight and seemed to handle well, but squeaks going over speed bumps. It has 91,000 miles and the dealer (not BMW) has replaced the tires and aligned the vehicle. From what I am reading, the noises could be from the control arms or the “thrust” arms. Knowing this to be the case, should I try to get the dealer to knock more money off the price? Right now he’s asking $14,500…all opinions appreciated! Thanks!

Hey Guys,

New here, just bought a 2017 x5 35i Drive but noticed the daytime running light was out. I looked under the hood and seem to be missing the module. Does it anyone where I can find the daytime running light module?

Wow that is ridiculous… you point out that they did it. That’s their fault. I’d take that further over $5k. New owner and haven’t had this issue but a non BMW technician reviewed all technicical service bulletins for this car for me and this issue came up except slightly different: he said it means you need to change oil pan bolt each oil change. That’s all I got.

Rear air suspension sagging when parked in incline. $4000+ to fix at dealer. Covered by BMW extended warranty. That repair alone is more than how much I paid for my CPO Wrap warranty! It would have really sucked to pay that much out of pocket. 2018 50i with 50K miles...
