I did. I added them about 2 years ago. Purchased off ebay and had them painted by a local shop. I'd send you a link but I'm sure that seller is long gone by now. Seems like I paid close to $300 for the flares and it cost around $500 to have them painted. Note: I was charged and extra $75 for the paint as mineral white is a 2-stage paint.

Thanks! Were they textured from ebay? I've seen good reviews one this forum for the textured eBay ones, yours look nice in Mineral tho. My e92 and x5 are both mineral white

They were relatively smooth. Still needed to be prepped by the paint shop. I could have gotten away with leaving them black, but the black fender flares exaggerate the fender/tire gap. The black kind of creates a shadow and I def didn't want that. That was before I was on coilovers, but even with coilovers the flares paint matched look so much cleaner. Only exception to me would be a black exterior vehicle.

Thanks, mineral white is such a cool color. Has more personality than alpine white IMO.

Yup, I'm in full agreement. I just picked up my F15 this week so I'll be doing tires soon and fender flares around the same time. Going for a more rugged build so I'm doing Nitto Ridgegrapplers slightly oversized; hopefully the black flares will match the style so I can save 500 bucks lol.

I've had 4 alpine cars and now 2 mineral...definitely love the depth of the 3 stage pearl.

First time buying junk from eBay for my cars, it's usually OEM or nothing, but obviously no OEM options for a 50i outside full powder coat. So far so good on fitment and durability.

And of course she's always thirsty!

Strange 2-1 hard downshift only, only without load on it… like rolling up to light, both in sport/comfort. Upshifts perfect.

Welp, for anyone wanting to run ethanol analyzers, learned the hard way that the PR fuel line kit and the MHD CAN Analyzer won't work on F15's. The routing of the fuel lines as well as the fitting on the LPFP are different from any other f2x/f3x including the X3. That also rules out the kit from Fuel-It because it comes with the same -6AN fitting for the lpfp as these.

So I'm back to square one. PTF says their kit will work but it's got the same -6 AN fitting as the above-mentioned so I'm skeptical even after I mentioned that to them.

No custom E50 map in my future after all if I can't measure accurately. E30 it is.

Got dam this car has been a pain in my ass to tune lol.

As an Alpine White owner, I pine over Mineral White when I see it... that pearl.

What are you doing for a lift, if any, to aid with clearance issues? The Ridgegrap is a pretty blocky cornerd tire so that should help.

Lift...hopefully none. I did some reading comparing tire sizes, widths, offsets etc and a 265/60/18 with 15mm front spacer is nearly identical in diameter/poke with this guy's 22's running a 285's up front. He reports slight rubbing on the inner fender liner at full lock which is something I can tolerate. May go with a 12mm spacer at first to see if I can avoid the same issue.

I'm hoping to keep stock ride height...I don't have sports pack or any of the sporty options so the suspension as it is feels a little floaty for my taste but everything appears to be in good condition. Does anyone make springs for our cars that either lift it or stay the same height, but a little firmer than stock?

Randomly spotted my Ex-X5 back in my neighborhood.

Sold pretty fast from the dealer who took it off my hands.

Odd that it's literally back where it started life at 7 years ago lol

A couple more from dinner last night. Good photo op.

Earlier someone asked about a previous picture post and which coils I am running. I am on KW V3. I do have a less than 500 mile used perfect condition H&R VTF kit if anyone is interested.

Someone also asked about the paint on the hood, if it was wrapped or something (some reflection in previous pic posted) - I had the entire front of the car repainted to get rid of all of the rock chips, other than that, no wraps or films. 🙏🏻
