Help - 2016 F16 X6 M50D N57 engine

Long story short, found the one that I am about to buy from dealership.
However, saw the attached past service report saying:

-Vehicle made a loud bang sound and then lots of white smoke coming out from exhaust.
-Whine sound during accelerating

First time with Diesel engine but I guess white smoke is something like coolant leak, main seal leaks, piston pressure loss etc?

However, dealer said the smoke was from the DPF regeneration. But will it cause that “lots of white smoke”?
Also not sure why there is a loud bang sound

Should I stay away from this car?
On the upside, the rear air suspension leaks and dealer fixed it.

DPF regeneration has no sound, you can not hear it. Bang and white smoke doesn't sound good in my book, I would stay away from this one.

Sounds like a turbo issue? As noted, DPF regen is silent. Id be very careful with this one if the dealer doesnt seem to know how the engine works.....

I actually thought about if anything wrong with the piston/gasket etc

What would you recommend me checking on this car? pressure testing the cylinder?

That service history was back in 2019, i wonder if there is no more weird sound or white smoke from the exhaust since then, would the car be still ok to go ahead with...hmm...

Will DPF regeneration cause "lots of white smoke" though?
And for the whine sound during acceleration, what could be the issue?
hmm....

No it will not. Whine during acceleration might point to the turbo problems.
