Has anyone else removed the screw and hasn't had any problems from it as a result?

Your inbox was full so I couldn’t PM you back. To answer your question no I have not experienced any issues since and have not heard the squeak since I removed the screw.

Exactly that way - I've coded it out and forgot about the whole issue. It's a fantastic feature when you're over 70 and north of 300 lbs, but for anyone else - useless in my opinion.

After coding this out, will this still automatically adjust position for different drivers (based on key when entering the car)?
