Inexpensive video editing program?

I need inexpensive video editing program with some tutorials concerning usage. Would you recommend any? I looked through some and they seem unworthy to me. My blog is about BMW cars. Waiting for your ideas.

iMovie is free and really good if you have a Mac.

If you have a Mac iMovie will be useful because it's legally free and fairly easy to use.

I use Sony Vegas if I'm working on my projects at home since I have a windows desktop, but that is an expensive piece of software, or so I heard

Start out with iMovie if you have an iPad or Mac. It’s relatively simple and easy to understand. Once you get it down you will have a much better idea of what features you need. Adobe Premier (both Windows and Mac) is also a good choice if you are on a budget.

There are many other excellent products , but they are usually much more expensive. Many have also gone to a subscription service model, so you have to pay monthly instead of just buying a product and using it for years.

Avid has a trial period. It's a professional grade NLE however. Not the easiest learning curve.
