Floating Center Cap Part Number
Hello. Does anyone have the part number for the floating center caps for the 612m wheels? Running into issues with the usual parts websites saying nothing fits the F85.

I'd say it is 36122455269. In all of my years of buying center caps, I've never observed any difference in size. Ones that I bought for either the e36, e39, e38, or e92 fit on my f85 the other day when the original f85 caps were nasty and corroded. Yes, wheels of newer cars with a different bolt pattern will be different. Not sure why they changed it.

Just be warned I've had them for a year and the chrome outer has got the usual white flecky, looks like plastic rusting, only bmw can manage corroding plastic. They changed 2 under warranty but the other 2 are now starting. I love them but disappointed with the longevity.
Probably still buy them again when it's really noticeable but at the moment it's only there when I wash the wheels and am up close Disclaimer: I'm in the uk and the weather leaves a lot to be desired! |

That happened to my standard caps as well. They looked like crap when I got the '16 in 2019 with 24k miles on the clock. A master tech says they all do that now. Time to buy them from FCP Euro and get the lifetime warranty

Again your lucky over there my friend. No such thing here in the uk. I'm always reading about old oil and filters going back under warranty, so jealous especially now our fuel is im guessing the equivalent to $2.00 per litre
