I took all the rotors off, taped of the contact area and painted them black. The aluminum started to look brownish from the brake dust and it was annoying me as it looked dirty. I do this on all my cars as it looks a lot cleaner and it’s easy to do. I’ll post a picture

Edit posted pic...the extra paint just comes right off as the pad makes contact.

The best spray paint I’ve used is duplicolor trim black paint

My first BMW was e70 X5 4.8i (2007)
My 2nd BMW was f15 X5 xDrive 30d (2014)

Then I missed gasoline sound, smell and power...

Now it's f86 X6M (2016) with aftermarket parts such as Lumma 22" wheels, Akrapovic exhaust and Akra diffuser. I am planning to remove the M Performance stickers and looking for lowering it. Attached daily shot!

Those are BC forged if you go to there website they'll have the exact name of the rim.
