I think I am JUST at the post limit, but I am replying here anyway to hopefully push it up again. I also think I am within the hour buffer. Appreciate it!

Using E-Sys offline from the car?

I've read here that we can make coding changes while not connected to the car and then re-connect and load the changes.

How do I download all the folders from my car to work through them offline?

Do I have to click on each folder I want to code while connected to car?

I have up-to-date E-sys, pizdata and bimmerutility.

Thanks for any help (and to everyone in the previous 254 pages of answers).

Connect to car, and after Read (ECU), at top of ECU List, right click on "SVT [VIN]" and select "Read Coding Data", and all ECU will be read.

Coding depends on which headlights your car has.

If you do not have TMS or FLM, then coding would be in BDC.

I looked in there and it either wasn't written clear enough for a dummy like to me to locate or I missed it. Could I trouble you to get the specific code command ?

Easiest way to turn keyless/comfort access off?

Hey guys,

Just got my first bmw - 5 series g30. I'm new to all this. What's the easiest way to turn keyless entry off? Bimmercode or Carly?

Or find a spare laptop and learn VO code?

Many thanks.

I don't use Phone Apps. My Vote is use a PC and E-Sys.

Noted with thanks Shawn.

Btw, I saw some thread mentioned "FDL code HU: HMI_39_39_128 to aktiv" to change the carplay to fullscreen.

Is that the correct parameter for our F15 with 10.25in display?

Thanks 🙏

It is either carplay_fullscreen if properly mapped or HMI_39_39_128 if unmapped. Of course, car must have firmware to support this function.
