I'll have to plug in and update my BM3 Stage 1 map. Still wondering if anyone is running stage 2 without downpipes?

Give it a try, as long as you can get a log with some dragy it should tell you if its working good or not.
Usually in the colder temps STG2 will be ok, but once 70F+ you will feel it when you push it back to back (Turbos work harder in high elevation too)

I just switched from BM3 stage 1 93 octane to stage 2 and I'm only running the M air filters and a muffler delete (haven't touched the downpipes). I don't have any testing data yet but it has restored the low RPM torque I lost since doing the exhaust.

I'm planning to send protuningfreaks some logs of both stages to see what I am better off with

Would highly recommend a Dragy its a GPS Performance Meter u can buy on amazon if you don't have access to a 1/4 mile drag-strip or don't want to dyno

You'll love the Dragy. I mounted mine in the cargo compartment in the back, on the surface of the vent grill. Completely out of the way, and it has a 12v charger to plug into, right underneath where it's mounted. I tested it thoroughly on a clear night, and it maintains 2 satellite connections no matter which way the vehicle's pointed.

Are your times coming accurate? I read in the manual it should be in the front windshield with clear view of sky had to stick mine in the front lol

Accurate...compared to what? Compared to me counting "one thousand one, one thousand two, one thousand three..." while clenching my sphincter and trying to keep the car greasy-side-down? LOL, yeah, the Dragy's times are super accurate.

I'm sure that in general, mounting it directly below the windshield would give the greatest odds of success. The instructions, like all instructions, are written to reduce the support calls and whiny emails to the lowest number possible, and to get the most users the best experience possible without knowing anything about your vehicle.

I tried a bunch of different locations which suit my needs, and found the one I prefer. Dragy seems happy with it too.

If you fire up the app, connect to the Dragy, and go to the "status" screen (though it's not clearly labeled such) you'll (hopefully) see a couple of little dots under the wonky-looking satellite icon on the left of the screen (at least on the Android app). Each of those dots, when present, represent a GPS satellite connection. My setup maintains the two lit dots very reliably. If you make a run, it'll mark the run as 'invalid' if the Dragy didn't have 2 satellite connections for the duration of the run. I haven't had a single invalid run with the Dragy mounted as shown in the photo. YMMV.

I think he means if you have run it at the strip to compare the dragy numbers to a time slip. I have seen people claiming it’s accurate to like within a tenth which is pretty damn good . I bought a dragy and was hesitant to sticking that thing on my dash but like your spot your using.

Ah, of course. Missed his reference; my Craniorectal Inclusion Syndrome is flaring up today.

I don't have time slips and Dragy results to compare directly, since I haven't been on a drag strip in 20 years. Plenty of others have, though. Lots of guys on the Ford and Shelby and Hellcat/Demon forums have taken their Dragies dragging (get it?) and the Dragy times and the time slips line up remarkably well. I don't really care if the Dragy is 1 or 2/100ths off, as long as it's consistent enough that I can tell if a mod or a fuel change has an effect on performance.

sold! This will be cool to see results of different tunes and before and after mods. Thinking now about x5m plugs

Going to get stage 2 since you have catless downpipe?
