Review mirror: what is this?

Piece of black tape with (a sensor?) behind it, on the back side of my rear view mirror. Anyone know? Or, anyone going to humor me? Lol

Looks like a RFID tag? I had a similar sticker from a car wash place here, would read it when i rolled up and open the door….my bet is its something like that
