Lowering Rear with Air ride Question

I have a 50i M Sport with rear air ride. I wanted to lower the rear only to just level the vehicle out. I found in a different thread about the use of new lowering links.

While I had the vehicle on the lift doing my muffler swap out I was looking for the links to replace.

On the drivers side rear I did see the fixed link that needs to be replaced with the adjustable links.

On the passenger side at the same location there was mounting holes but no fixed link to be replaced with adjustable ones.

Where does the second adjustable link install if there are only one on the drivers side rear ?

Am I missing something here ?

I used links on my 35I. They were in identical positions on each side. Going to agree that you are missing a factory link on the passenger side.

I don't even see the sensor in the pic. Looks like you're missing quite a bit. And to be honest this doesn't make sense as without them the car should pop a warning. When did you buy this?

I bought the Vehicle as a CPO from BMW as a 1 owner with no damages.

There is a link and sensor on the drivers side if I'm looking at the correct thing.

Just nothing on the passenger side and no marks like there never was one installed from the factory.

I would take it back to them immediately.

You are correct. I recently had an issue with a messed up wire to my rear sensor and it shut the suspension down to where it was just in a stiff mode. You were not able to switch out to the other EDC modes.

Am I missing something or is that a rear coil in the second picture that doesn't have the sensor or link? I thought the airbags replaced the coil spring.

Ok Now I feel like an dumb ass. I kinda looked before and did not see springs so I thought Air bags. When I start the car I hear a noise that sounds like a air compressor. Then when I took a quick glance on the drivers side rear I saw what looked like links and a sensor.

So I jumped the gun a purchased the lowering links.

Now in a different post I see I was looking at the headlight tilt sensor. That's why I only see one.

Now I guess if anyone needs a good deal on lowering links I have some...lol

So what is the sound I here from the rear of the car every time I start it up that sounds like a compressor or something like that ?
