We sold our MP5. Then a few years later they said can we can get another one? I don’t remember but I think agency price was under $2k.

I should try to get one for the department 😂

Are you law enforcement? If you are, just need that demo letter from your CLEO and I can see about helping get another one for your department.. or maybe get a bit more modern and do an MP7.

We are. But I just blew two years of my measly budget on rifles and ammo.
I ordered ten FN 14.5 SBR patrol rifles. Two months later FN discontinued the rifles and said you can spend some more money and order one of our newer rifles.

So I had my vendor switch companies and my Daniel Defense rifles should be here next month. Still waiting on 60 cases of 357sig ammo from Winchester.

My Aimpoint Pros got delivered very quickly.

Optics are much easier to get in this market than ammo so I feel for you. Dealers are having hard time keeping stuff on the shelves, especially when the distributors are typically out of stock. It's just a crazy market. Though I'm starting to see some vendors starting to advertise to dealers again, hence I think the market must be slowing down. Those vendors I'm talking about pretty much, in not so many words, told dealers that they won't sell to us because they are able to sell all their products without us, direct to customer (transfer through FFL of course).

Yeah. The agency can pay that. Us mortals are paying closer to $40K now for a (legal) full auto MP5. I know. But worth it.

Yes Sir. It is a MCR on a register receiver. Took a while to get it run reliably. Later I plan to run a Razorback beltfed 22LR that I recently picked up.

Fascinating air rifle. That's the kind of gun that could get you killed easily in South Chicago. Of course, just walking can get you killed in South Chicago. 😊

That depends on what you want to do with it. I have an old Smith and Wesson Stainless 2206 that I love. It is great to shoot for target/plinking and when I teach someone to shoot, we start with that. If you mean to carry like an Iver Johnson TP22 and you think you can everyday carry it, then don't. Stick with the 9mm.
