Does anybody know if there is a way to code the distance ACC to permanently show the cars instead of just the bars? I mean the apace isn't used otherwise...

See below pictures...

I think it only shows a car when the radar comes back with a return. Ie when it senses a vehicle it shows a vehicle. If it doesn't sense a vehicle it won't show anything but the timing separation lines.

He meant the cars that appear when you change the distance (5 series and X5). And no, it's not possible.

You are correct, that's what I meant. To bad, maybe somebody will find something in the coding one of these days.
Really think they could have used that space when not used with the distance and TJA... instead of just the little bars at the top...

Is it maybe possible to code the KM/H to be visible at all times similar to how the mileage will automatically come on when KM/H is selected as the main Value?

It's definitely possible as we here in Canada get it by default, the only question if coding for both mph and kmh are possible at the same time

Well, but don't you use KM/H as a default? When I set mine to KM/H it still shows the MPH in the smaller ring. But my default is MPH and I want the KM/H to be displayed the same as the the default KM/H displays the MPH in the smaller ring. Hopefully that makes sense.

I'm from Europe and am used to the KM/H and it's just nice to take reference to something your used to even though your using a different unit as default.

In my opinion (or at least so I hope) it should be possible to enable that through coding somehow...

What I'm trying to say is that we get reverse of what you've got - KPH speedo without MPH and MPH speedo with digital KPH. So it's possible, the only question if you can have both options at the same time.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply, but the blue that I'm looking for is like this photo, not sure if it's white but because of the camera reflex that's why I see blue or something.

Thanks inadvance

So what are the part numbers which would fit 2014 F15 with HUD. If I buy used do I need to worry about getting an adapter to connect the wires to the new one since it is one big plug? Also if I get the used one but with a mileage lower then my current one, will it just pick up mine since it is higher one? Will I get the temper dot in that case if it is not virginized? I'm very tempted to swap my half digital cluster for the fully digital one but they got way more expensive, bimmer-tech now offers these for $2500 new or $1900 for refurbs...

Hello All - Could someone more savvy than me please validate if this 6WB will work on my F15? I do not have HUD. I've spent about 3 hours reading various threads but still want to triple check compatibility if possible. Much appreciated!

If needed my VIN is 5UXKR6C59G0J81620

Got my 6WB ordered today, can't wait to get it. Also, is there any use for the old 6WA cluster? Do I really need it or it can be sold? I've seen some info about keeping old cluster in order to get FW updates from dealer if needed?

It depends, some clusters work with or without HUD, some part numbers work only for non-HUD models. Depends. I got a newer one so it will work with any configuration.
