trailer hitch error, which I assume is because ive removed the hitch but the car is coded to see one.

Recode it back to normal in BimmerCode expert or ESYS

BimmerLink removes errors not coding.

Do you know which values? I haven’t been able to find much in hitch coding.

Not off top of my head. Pretty sure It's in the cheat sheet.

Edit: Actually come to think of it idk what you're talking about. The only thing that gets "coded" is the camera view and that doesn't matter if you have the tow hitch or not as I've had that coding since I bought the car but didn't install hitch until a couple months back. The car auto recognizes the harness when it's plugged in and should unrecognize it. But I would imagine bimmerlink or Esys to remove the errors is all you should need. But not sure.

In order to help you further it would help to understand the error you are seeing.

Can you post a picture of your instrument cluster or where you see the Error?

no errors within the system, just this warning. i poked around bimmercode and the only thing found is for the hitch zoom.

If you still have the trailer hitch you should connect it again, start the car idrive. See if there is an option to "disconnect". Turn disconnect while idrive is running.

May be something in ISTA and not ESYS or coding.

That’s not an option unfortunately. Agree with everyone that it’s strange and unexpected. Since I’m selling the car I guess I’ll just leave it!

why not just take it to the dealer and ask them to clear it

can anyone help me with coding US tail lights to F15 EU version, or any information about this conversion?

after I mounted on the car (connection was plug&play) I have Output left & right brake light faulty.

Is it a bulb error? If so and you have Bimmercode you can turn the bulb check off for the tail lights and it will ignore them.

it's about full LED tail lights, but not the LED it's problem, the problem is the US version have other way coding like EUR version, but I don't know how to...fix it....

E-Sys has stopped working for me. I've had several successful coding sessions with no issues, but on launch today E-Sys Launcher Premium asks me to generate a new token, which it appears to do but isn't recognised by the launcher. I've uninstalled and reinstalled all elements (E-Sys, psdzdata, and E-Sys launcher premium) but get the same result.

Any ideas from the forum?

Premium Launcher generates token that expires 12/31/2018.
