yes, the issue for me is i'm on idrive5 and nbtevo.

why not just modify this new profile. add the memory stuff so you retain the 5 blinks.

So your interface has always looked like that, even before it was updated, right? And a dealer updated it?

I didn't think they started using that till MY2018.

I do not like id6 lite. Even a full on 6. This is way nicer to look at especially on the F15 big screen

I have done 3-4 coding session after changing to 5 blinks and mine remains. I have even set up another profile for someone else and it still stayed on.

I think the trick is you have to NOT want 5 blinks in order for it to work! LOL - I prefer the 3 and only did it to see if I had the same issue as Daytona. I meant to change it back with the last coding I did (added office) and forgot.

I'm not sure I would like the I6 Lite either - which is why I have not tried it yet. They say it does not change anything except the GUI though, so you can change back and forth to try it. I'll have to do it some day I guess and try.

I have an 2014 F15 50i. I have done already a lot of coding with bimmercode. Is there a possibility to the following with Bimmercode?

1. When on reverse have the driver side mirror also dip down.
2. On the HU Display. Can it show the blind spot triangle when it lights up?

I don't know about the drivers side mirror.

Since nobody else drives my car I programmer my seat memory buttons to be wafting the same, however on the 2 seat button I have the drivers side mirror lower. It kind of sucks but it helps when I really need it.

Can the steering and throttle option screen be added to the SPORT screen on middles with standard suspension?

I'd like to set sport to be tight steering and normal throttle. I know you have these options with upgraded suspension however I can't see it on my screen as I have standard suspension.

EVO is new hardware. Technically they could but it'll cost you $3000 or more. The head unit box behind the CD player is larger in the 2014/2015 and when they added the USB port under the CD player they had room to do so due to the box being smaller. Which is why I couldn't actually add the USB port but had to just run the wire through the hole in the new trim piece.

As soon as you mess with IDrive settings, only way I have seen to fix is programming car.

Anyone seen the FRONT camera speed/distance setting? I have the surround and rear working at any speed, but the front must be on it's own value as it still works as always.

I have a MY 2018 and tried programming 5 blinks last year. It didn't work on my two configured profiles but it did work on the third never configured profile. Weird

Yep exactly what is happening with mine.
Then I rename the unused profile and use it.
If I go to the setting for the blinks, the box for 3 triple turn blinks is unchecked but the car does 5 blinks. Lol
Bmw needs to step up their system.. that's what happens when you decide to build your own versus partner or buy from specialized business.

I know which one you are talk by about.
On top of that in BimmerCode you can see some options that are hardware dependent and it does not tell you whether your car is equipped with the proper for it.

Just be wise, if you do not have certain equipment do not expect any changes; expect sometimes negative impact as well.

That was probably me - I always had the option to try it showing, but I never tried it as I didn't think I would like it. I didn't know it would not work for me, so I guess that is for the best anyway......lol

I have reached out to Stephan previously on this and it can be done on the NBT EVO. Have to change through expert mode. set HMI_ID_VERSION to id6_light.

So after reading 31 pages, Im not sure if I am sure of anything. I have printed the spread sheet from page 3, I have read all about phone apps and IOS and using Mac in boot camp..... and on and on.

Looking for a simple answer. With 12 inches of snow today, I am going to download the bimmercode and do some mods. Is there a code for use with Macs, is there one for Iphones are they capable of doing everything in one vs the other?

I wish like hell someone lived near 54913, I hate going to dealerships and saying I screwed up my car. I dont care about the money, I hate being embarrassed.

App can be used with Android or IOS.

For Computer, you use Windows 7-10 and E-sys.

I have 2015 x5 and I think I have just NBT and NOT NBT EVO. Is that correct? or is NBT EVO an option inside the HU_NBT?

2016 G12 was first year and chassis that 4GB Evo with ID5 was offered. Some 2016 3-series had 2GB Evo ID4 units.

2015 X5 has NBT. 2017-2018 had Evo. 2019 has MGU.
