dumb question but how do you put engine in comfort? I'm assuming you're in "sport" mode but what/how about the comfort part?

Also - talk about making things more complicated - this appears to be an M next to X5 on the back but NOT an X5m. Seems like UK 50d? I'm sure people know about this already but I never though BMW put factory M after the x5 on the back for NON bmw x5m. Now I don't know what's wrong and right!!??? haha

It's the "M" version of the diesel and is a bad ass ride. Would have bought that over the 50i in a heart beat if it was in the US. 3 turbos on the i6 diesel. And still 30mpg. Lol

And it's in the idrive settings. You can quasi customize comfort and sport modes and depending on what features your car has. I can adjust chassis and drivetrain separately.

M badge on the gear shifter - what are most doing? I like the way it looks but to replace my stock just for that m seems a little much....

Not feeling a sticker though haha.

I replaced mine and I like it. It's not a sticker but an entire replacement cover piece for the shifter.

Nice - any pics? Always like seeing real examples. Seems like it's 200 or so. Can you replace it yourself or does bodyshop need to do it?

Right now, I'm thinking 20" tires, rear diffuser and potentially this. M badges for the front fenders ala EU is a def. Not sold on the fender trim yet. Like that clean look for now.

It's like $30-40 and yes you can do yourself. It just pulls up with a trim removal tool, clean the area and stick on the new one. It's all 2 sided tape.

I got mine from Ben r33_RGSport. I don't see them on his website anymore, but give him a shout and see if he still has them. Easy to remove and re-apply with a trim removal tool.

I believe Ben sent me his last one few months ago. I haven't gotten around to install mine yet and it's still in the ziploc bag packaging. I'll sell it to you for $90

They got some on amazon. $20. Not sure of quality but for $20 worth a shot.

Happy to report that after going through a tank of gas in mppk+sport mode got rid of that dead space with acceleration. This thing takes off. Pretty impressed the power on this thing. Not sure if mpe helped but I have that too now

Edit - well there is still some delay on full pedal press. It then goes away so not all the time but not 100% resolved. Driving the 50, it did the same so it's not a 35 thing but for now.... It's still not completely solved... Maybe 90% ok!

I think he was commenting about how loud (and I assume awesome) the cold start is with the MPE.

Love the cold start on the 50i with the muffler delete. It still make me smile almost every time.

Wife loves it too.

So I just realized this and I know I missed the boat but I thought pressing the shifter to the left was just for manual but it puts it into sport transmission as many mentioned. Combined with sports mode, this car is very quick mppk mpe installed too. No delay at all. Very impressive.

If anyone is looking to add M sport badges to their F15 X5, you can check out my attached video. I recently added them to my X5 and was unable to find a video for the F15.
